Svendborg

Venue

Svendborg (a few ideas)

Svendborg is a small harbour town on the island of Funen. The town itself is famous for its maritime background, and is home to numerous tall ships. This used to be the home town of Angelika’s family, and a place where she spent many of her summers as a child.

4th Aug      On arrival in Svendborg, check into accommodation

Maybe hire a bicycle for the afternoon, and take a ride into the countryside

Maybe visit one of neighbouring islands with Valdemar castle and yachting museum

Maybe look around Svendborg itself, with its many shops, harbour side and beach

Maybe take a trip on the vintage ferry ‘Helge’, or even a sunset cruise on a tall ship

We are looking into the possibility of hiring a tall ship for a sunset sail / meal

5th Aug       Spend a leisurely morning doing one of the activities above.

Make your way to the church in Svendborg by 14:15
